I began subbing for Atlanta ISD in 2016, after moving back home from Atlanta, GA. I officially joined the staff as a teacher at AMS in 2018.  I have taught 6^th & 7^th grade regular and advanced math. I am excited to be back in 7^th grade this year.

Prior to moving back to Atlanta, TX, I taught music Pre-K through 6^th grade for Cobb County School District, Marietta City School District and Riverside Montessori School while living in Atlanta, GA.

I am a widowed mother of 2 children, one attends Texarkana College and the other attends school here in AISD. They are very active in extracurricular activities and keep me on the go.

I am the Minister of Music at a local church. I love singing and playing the piano.  I also still play my saxophone from time to time.  When I’m not teaching, I love being with my kids and my family. I also enjoy crafting, playing dominos or cards, shopping, and traveling.
